James Hopkins was born in Ridgeville, South Carolina in. Like many families in the early 50's and 60's, his family migrated North to New York City. He, and several family members, have since returned home to the Charleston area.

James earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Columbia University in New York City. He also attended The Pace University Graduate School of Business.

Not only is James a Realtor® investor for over 15 years, he is also a former Pharmacist. He has owned and operated a pharmacy for 15 years, and recently worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs as a supervisory pharmacist at the Charleston Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP).

James has enjoyed doing both professions because he is very passionate about helping people. Now, he has retired from pharmacy, and is focusing full time on helping people with one of the single most important events of their life. Buying or Selling a home.

A native South Carolinian that has lived in the Tri-County area ( Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester Counties) all of my life. As a retired Federal Government Supervisor Analyst, I have traveled all over the world but always returned home to this area because of its uniqueness known as the “low country.” My knowledge of this home market is immeasurable and beyond that I love this place I have always called home.

Now, a licensed real estate agent for 14 years, I began my real estate career as a personal journey for a second home purchase. This search culminated in not just a house but a “ Home full of hopes and dreams.” This venture showed me that this is a service that I would love to pay forward by helping others attain. Betty Ellis has seen the country! Her long career in nursing afforded her the opportunity to work in the low country of SC, DC, Atlanta, and California before returning to Charleston in 1998. Betty received her Bachelors degree from Cal State LA. In 2007 Betty began her second career as a real estate agent working for AgentOwned. Since that time, she has been instrumental in helping individuals and families find homes that represent them. In her free time Betty enjoys cooking, reading, gardening, and brisk walks on the beautiful Charleston beaches. Her constant smile and the energy she brings to the table makes it easy to understand why her clients often find themselves calling upon her for her professional expertise and guidance in real estate.

Born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., I was raised as they say a "Military Brat".Being part of a military family afforded us the opportunity to be blessed living among the diversity of many cultures and people.
